The SWEAR team is thrilled to announce that our enterprise solution, SWEAR Security, was honored in November with the CES 2025 Innovation Award in the “Product in Support of Human Security” category. Businesses in countless industries rely on secure and trustworthy video content for security and compliance with industry standards, and this acknowledgment reinforces the importance of our work in ensuring data integrity and combating misinformation.
The CES Innovation Awards celebrate design and engineering achievements across 33 consumer technology categories. The 2025 program received more than 3,400 entries, assessed by experts from diverse industries, including media professionals, designers, engineers, and other aligned stakeholders — based on innovation, functionality, and design.
Let’s face it: with AI-generated content flooding the internet, it’s harder than ever to tell what’s real. A 2024 survey from YouGov shows that 81% of people aren’t sure they can trust what they see online due to the spread of AI-generated content in media. For example, when Hurricane Helene landed in the United States, images depicting crying children in the storm’s aftermath began circulating, drawing an emotional response from millions of viewers. That is, until we discovered these photos weren’t real at all — they were AI-generated.
That’s where SWEAR comes in. Our solution blew the judges away by enabling enterprises to verify the authenticity of digital media and address the challenges posed by AI-driven misinformation. SWEAR Security maps the digital DNA of video content at the point of creation and records it on an independent blockchain ledger, giving security teams an immutable, authentic record to ensure every frame is as it should be.
