● Community Video Integrity Project

A New Standard for city security

SWEAR is launching a new program to provide its video authentication services at no cost to a limited number of high-risk cities and municipalities.

Until now, SWEAR has primarily worked with corporations to help protect the authenticity and integrity of critical video. Through the Community Video Integrity Project, we are extending that same protection to public-sector organizations that may face heightened risks but lack the resources to implement it on their own.

Selected cities and municipalities will receive free access to SWEAR’s video authentication technology, along with onboarding, deployment guidance, and ongoing support.

Why We Created
This Program.

To Support High-Risk Communities

Some municipalities face greater security, public safety, and reputational risks but may not have the resources to add another layer of video protection.

To Protect Public Trust

When video is used to explain a critical incident, support an investigation, or inform the public, cities need a reliable way to show that the footage is authentic.

To Prepare Cities for the Age of AI

As manipulated and synthetic media become more convincing, even legitimate footage can be questioned. We want to help cities stay ahead of that challenge.

The SWEAR method

how swear helps

01

Capture

Video is protected from the moment it is recorded, creating a trusted reference point for authenticity.

02

Protect

SWEAR creates an independent record of the original footage while keeping the video itself private and under your control.

03

Verify

Footage can later be checked against its original record to confirm whether it has remained unchanged.

04

Present

When video is challenged, your team can provide clear proof that the footage is authentic and unaltered.
